Starting May 2021
£22-28k pa depending on experience.
At first you’ll be supporting our Head of SEO with the responsibilities listed below, and we’ll provide full, ongoing training each and every day.
Conduct regular SEO research projects and website audits, including but not limited to:
Use the findings to set long-term SEO strategies for each client
Implement the set strategy for each client
Monitor results & performance
Produce monthly reports for clients
Manage relationships and communications with clients
Keep up-to-date with SEO news, including:
Algorithm and technological updates
Latest trends, theories and industry knowledge
We’re looking for an individual who is:
Eager to learn
If you think you’re a good match for those five characteristics, we want to talk with you. It doesn’t matter if you have absolutely no experience in SEO or tonnes, we’re primarily interested in the soft skills described above.
That said, for those with little to no experience of SEO, we’re also after the following:
Excellent grammar, spelling and overall English skills
Interested in (and comfortable using) computers, technology and websites
And it’s a total bonus if you happen to have any experience or understanding of the following:
Reviewing data to identify trends, issues and opportunities
Writing and editing content
Producing written reports
Using a website CMS
Managing and planning your own schedule
For those with experience of SEO, we’re very much keen to speak to you too! In fact, this role is perfect for any highly ambitious individuals with 1-5 years of experience in SEO, currently in a junior or mid-level role, but who would like the opportunity to lead and develop an SEO department. You’ll be approaching this role from a different angle to candidates without experience – as we would be training those individuals into the role, whilst you’ll likely have a lot of the necessary skills already. As such, we’ll place more emphasis on evaluating your experiences in SEO to date.
